[email protected] Posted January 18, 2020 Almost dusk, first time I’ve noticed ice-lined trees today. But not big-time ice. Tiny icicles melting from deck rail. Looks like temps finally starting to rise. Now 30.8, up about 1 degree in past hour.
poolz1 Posted January 18, 2020 Holding steady at 31.3. Pretty windy at times...had a few nice gusts accompanied by a burst of sleet/frz rain. Maybe the wind has helped keep temps just below freezing.
SnowBeach Posted January 18, 2020 No icing on trees that i can see, but deck is still coated with ice and picnic table has a nice coating here in Stanardsville. I will take whatever I can get after over 2 years since last measurable snowfall in SEVA/ORF

Steve25 Posted January 18, 2020 Decent icing on all cold surfaces just north of Baltimore City. Now I look forward to a couple sub-freezing days next week. I actually haven't looked beyond Wednesday in a few days on the models. It was starting to look bleak so I took a vacation from the models.

GramaxRefugee Posted January 18, 2020 These little icicles don't seem indicative of our day, but here they are. (Patio umbrella) 32/32 dzl mist.

losetoa6 Posted January 19, 2020 Pretty impressive icing in Westminster on north driving home. Even in darkness you could see a lot of ice buildup in trees through headlights. The Westminster Dunkin donuts drive through order sign was an epic amount of ice lol . Should of photo it . Just got home and temp has just edged above freezing. nj2va Posted January 19, 2020 43 here but winds have shifted out of the west so temps should start dropping.
nj2va Posted January 19, 2020 40. Upper levels must be cooling since it’s pouring but sleet/snow/rain mix.
