Atlantic ridge has brought +AMO record highest, and there have been high heights in Russia all Winter. Check out these forecasts from the 12z GFS at 30N, Now India has a +120 500mb anomaly at 10day. I'm interested in some discussion on the topic, and perhaps why the record warmth has yet to hit populated regions, meaning east coast and europe.
