Matthew-Northern Italy Posted May 5, 2014 Author Share Posted May 5, 2014 At this time of the year isn't unusual to have still snow on the peaks around the valley/basin. The fact is that this winter has been unreally mild but also exceptionally rainy and snowy in the mountains; too bad we have had a very mild and dry march and april, so right now the snow on the mountains could have been waaay much more.
