Looking for Journal Articles, PPT Presentations, Books, etc

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to put together a toolkit for forecasting/nowcasting high impact weather. I need some help tracking down journal articles, Powerpoint presentations, books, class lectures/notes, your experiences, etc. at how to forecast and nowcast these events. Some information I'm looking for:

Winter Weather

Lake Effect Snow

Forecasting P-Type

Forecasting Snow Ratio/Snow Totals

Using radar to nowcast winter storms

Conditional Symmetric Instability

Predicting thundersnow

Severe Weather

Predicting hail size

Forecasting gust potential

Tropical Weather

Forecasting tropical storm formation/development

Utilizing satellite for forecasting/nowcasting

Tools

Using Bufkit

Spaghetti/Ensemble forecasting

Dual-Pol Radar

Microwave/Satellite

Many thanks in advance. I've been looking for some of this on my own, but I know y'all have some things kept in your back pocket.
