Oh, by "tomorrow", I mean Saturday... to me its still Friday I used to forecast out there. A nightmare if you ask me--so hard to deal with all those Basin and Range mountains. Pretty impressive for Elko though.

famartin
I used to forecast out there. A nightmare if you ask me--so hard to deal with all those Basin and Range mountains. Pretty impressive for Elko though. Yeah, its a real pain. None of the models had anything near the 0.66" liquid-equivalent that we ended up getting. Of course, it was a rather narrow convective band that even fooled our SOO (who was working short-term on Friday and put out an advisory for areas to our west), so I don't think anyone will feel bad about having missed it.
