Yep, it's another fun filled HAT for the east coast, hosted by local NWS offices along with the National Hurricane Center. NHC Director Bill Read and a few other NHC staff will be on the trip. Here are the dates and stops: Monday, May 2 -- Massachusetts Military Reservation (formerly Otis ANG Base), Falmouth, MA (hosted by NWS Taunton, MA) Tuesday, May 3 -- Pax River NAS, Patuxent River, MD (hosted by NWS Sterling, VA) Wednesday, May 4 -- Cherry Point MCAS, NC (hosted by NWS Morehead City, NC) Thursday, May 5 -- Savannah Airport, GA (hosted by NWS Charleston, SC) Friday, May 6 -- Ft. Lauderdale, FL (hosted by NWS Melbourne, FL) There will be public tours available of the NOAA P-3 Orion aircraft along with the Hurricane Hunter crew.
