    I do landscaping on the side for one of my buddies who owns his own company. We never have started before 8, and usually try to start somewhere that isn’t sense with houses. Some things can’t wait though. One of our neighbors sent a text out to all the neighbors asking if anyone had a problem with a construction crew demolishing an installing a new patio starting at 630am. It was a weekday, and a one time thing, nobody cared. It’s not hard to be courteous.

    I think the mushrooms are more a product of of humidity. Like I have weird mushroom/fungus stuff in areas on my yard that are going brown and getting crispy. Not sure if we are officially “drought” status here, but it’s been dry, especially relative to most other areas, as that map illustrates

    Good illustration of the haves and have nots. I know scooter says he’s got mushrooms in his yard, but it’s been dry here overall. No two ways about it.

    Pretty crazy how localized precip can be at this time of year. Eastern new England will be looking at crisp lawns and VT NH and CT will have bridges washed away this week.

    All major guidance is less than half an inch through Wednesday night here. And that’s probably a result of storms or pop up showers. Probably an all or nothing proposition.
