    SATURDAY...
    
    * WHAT...Snow, sleet and freezing rain expected. Total snow and
    sleet accumulations of up to one inch and less than a tenth of
    an inch of ice accumulation expected.
    
    * WHERE...Southern Baltimore, Central and Southeast Howard and
    Southeast Harford Counties.
    
    * WHEN...From 1 PM to 9 PM EST Saturday.
    
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
    
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
    
    A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
    freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
    roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

    I can confirm the 4” measurement in NE Baltimore.

  3. Went out for a walk at 6:15, barely snowing tiny flakes. About halfway through, you could see the dendritic growth start, and the crystals getting visibility larger. Sidewalks and streets started to cave pretty quickly. When we got in it was coming down pretty good, with beautiful fluffy dendrites falling.
