That's what my NWS is saying. 5-8. What are your thoughts for my area? At Canistear Reservoir in NE Sussex County NJ? Any chance of an upside, or will storm be moving to quick?

My gut tells me between 9 and 10am.. Roads will ice up quickly with temps crashing as the snow starts.

NWS forecast nailed this one to a tee for our area.

Just measured 4" on elevated non paved surfaces. Maybe only 2 on the streets before I got home, but they plowed earlier. Streets are white again. Light snow falling. 31°

Just measured a hair less than 4.5". Snow has got heavier again in last half hour. Will measure again at 8 am. 27°

As of 6 am, just measured 4.25' with steady snow falling. 27°

Definitely a bust here. They were saying 1/2". We are closing in on 4" here soon with moderate snow falling. 27°

An average of at least several measurements in an area that is flat, and away from any roofs and such. That's probably the best we could do when it's very windy.
