  1. Numbers will continue to grow as well, NY has the second most outstanding ballots left..84% of the vote counted..
  2. Hillary won Minnesota by +1%, Biden+7%.. Florida was one of the better states for trump wrt increasing popularity..They also have his little butt buddy desantis down there lol
  3. Well trump called his win a landslide no? Biden is projected 306 EV, the same as trump, but he actually won the popular vote by millions lol Trump also won MI,WI and PA by 77k votes, Biden will win those states by much more.. He also potentially flipped 2 republican states, GA(28years) and Arizona (24 years).. This is much more of a "landslide" than 2016..
  4. They have had only 1 lawsuit in either NC or AZ and it was "sharpiegate" lol WASHINGTON, D.C.— On behalf of two Arizona voters, the Public Interest Legal Foundation, a right-wing nonprofit, sued the Maricopa County Recorder and the Board of Supervisors in Arizona Superior Court, claiming that the use of Sharpie permanent markers at some polling sites “deprived” voters of their right to have their ballots counted. The lawsuit seeks to: 1) identify ballots impacted by the Sharpie markers and allow them to be corrected; 2) allow members of the public who were given Sharpies to be present in person to observe the counting of ballots; and 3) obtain a Declaration by the Maricopa County Recorder and the Board of Supervisors saying that their actions had “deprived voters of their right to have their votes read with perfect accuracy by an automatic system” Today, the Arizona Democratic Party intervened in the case, calling the lawsuit “a wolf dressed up in sheep’s clothing.” In their motion to intervene, the Arizona Democratic Party called out the blatant attempt by the Public Interest Legal Foundation “to throw the processing of ballots in Arizona’s largest county into disarray at the eleventh hour.”
  5. It's funny how all those votes in NC and Arizona that are coming after election day are legal but not in PA, GA, Wi, MI etc lol
  6. Biden's popular vote win is even bigger. Once all the votes are counted (and there are plenty outstanding), Biden's probably going to win somewhere between 51% and 52% of the popular vote. The only challenger to score a higher percentage over the last century was Roosevelt in 1932.
  7. It's looks to be your typical WSW-NW band on the move.. We'll see how it looks in a couple days lol
  8. Winters making a comeback, at least for a day lol
  9. A new antibody test might be more effective at detecting previous COVID-19 infections. This test looks at T-cells, which scientists say have a memory of past infections. Researchers tested 70 people who had previously confirmed COVID-19 cases. Theoretically, all 70 of them should have had positive results on antibody tests. But previous antibody testing returned negative results in 16 of those people, while the T-cell test missed only two cases. Other tests had some similar results.
  10. It’s officially the busiest Atlantic hurricane season in 170 years of record keeping. Subtropical Storm Theta formed late on Monday, taking us further into the Greek alphabet.
  11. Some cloth masks are nearly as good as surgical masks at blocking droplets, the CDC said. Polypropylene may generate a static charge that captures particles, the CDC said, while silk might repel moist droplets and be more comfortable. "It's a two-way street," Dr. Anthony Fauci, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, said Tuesday on MSNBC. "You protect others, their mask protects you, and your mask also protects you."
  12. The agency cited an economic analysis that found a 15% increase in universal masking could prevent losses of up to $1 trillion.
  13. The new guidance cites a number of studies showing that masks reduce the risk of transmitting or catching the virus by more than 70% in various instances. One study revealed mutual mask-use helped prevent two infected hair stylists from transmitting the virus to 67 clients who were later interviewed. Another followed infected people who spent more than 10 hours on flights without infecting other passengers when masks were used. In several scenarios, when officials told people to wear masks, infections and deaths fell significantly, the CDC pointed out. "Adopting universal masking policies can help avert future lockdowns, especially if combined with other non-pharmaceutical interventions such as social distancing, hand hygiene, and adequate ventilation," the CDC said
  14. Obviously we haven't been doing so bad here but last time I checked Lewis county only had like 60 cases..(few weeks back) We probably have a better chance of"mad cow disease" lol
  15. Later Sunday night a shortwave arriving from the north will bring a colder airmass across the region for the beginning of next week. This shortwave, deepening the long wave trough over our region will also bring enough cold air to transition lingering rain showers Monday over to lake effect rain/snow showers Monday night and Tuesday. It will be marginally cold enough for snow, with the lake belts east and southeast of both lakes possibly receiving accumulating lake snows. Within this west to northwest flow Monday and into Tuesday, breezy conditions are expected with gusts possibly over 35 mph.
  16. Must of really been a terrible week for trump and company..lol
  17. A Pennsylvania postal worker whose claims have been cited by top Republicans as potential evidence of widespread voting irregularities admitted to U.S. Postal Service investigators that he fabricated the allegations, according to three officials briefed on the investigation and a statement from a House
