  1. I think you’re wrong. I hope, anyway. I see an active pattern. Everything coming together for a blockbuster or two. First one might struggle. Big positive indicators all on board.
  2. Yeah, it a typical response to a southern LP. That stuff will be so fluffy you could blow it off your car. Tea kettle stuff. During cold spells we get this a bit on the south shore. Fun
  3. I’m not done with the 190 hr one. It is ahead of the arctic HP. If there is Atlantic traffic, it could ride up as opposed to out to sea. Suppression has always been the worry. Richmond having one hell of a a winter!!!
  4. Checkout the lake response at the west end of Ontario. .
  5. Suppression is my big concern. Good to see EPS loosening up.
  6. You guys in BUF are overdue. I’ll be rooting for ya. I’ll also be hoping on a couple synoptic systems that temporarily turn winds NE!
  7. I like when ThinkSnow can’t concentrate on anything but the pattern
  8. I think it’s about where we’d expect it in this time frame. My BIG concern is that a similar thing happens as to what is occurring right now, and that’s that an elongated, strong HP suppress’ it south. Im not super concerned with a cutter. At least that would buckle our horrible pattern.
  9. Back to the doldrums. This time, it’s a bit colder because it’s the middle of January. It’s that driving pacific jet that’s ruining our winter. Dull.
  10. This was all fake. Valley areas outside lake effect did poorly.
  11. I’d be surprised if Roc Airport truly received 6”. We got about 3” on the North side and reports of 4” seem super common. Those guys always inflate little snows and underestimate the big ones. It’s weird.
  12. Pretty nice meso low over western part of LO. Still coming down in Rochester. 1”/hr rates. 3” so far. Rough out there. Windy with low visibility up here near the shore.,
  13. I think Monroe County gets upgraded. It’s a solid set up. Several areas, especially east side, should see warning criteria at this pace.
  14. Tim, we are seeing decent rates in Irondequoit. Only an inch so far. Radar looks good. Hoping on 6”. Wish I was still drinking for a nite like tonight. This would go great with a 12 pack. Lol
  15. I know the guy, Jeremy Kappel, on air he accidentally said, “we are broadcasting live from Dr Martin Luther Coon King JR Park”, he didn’t immediately apologize and maintained it was a flub. He was fired with pressure from the mayor. I feel bad for the dude but I’m not sure how that rolls out your mouth if you’re not accustomed to saying that.
  16. Freak, I love your knowledge and enthusiasm. It’s great to have someone with your chops in this group.
  17. So far nothing of interest in Northern Monroe County. Is it blowing over us? Radar looks good.
  18. King City Radar about as active as I’ve ever seen (for LES). Strong signal.
  19. Ontario is really lighting up to the NW of Rochester. Flow looks to be WNW at this time. Exciting! Lol.
  20. It occurred to me too! The only down side will be the strong winds. We’d like to see a little more time over the lake. High end advisory for Eastern Suburbs. Including Walworth.
  21. Tidbits site has been acting real clunky. Is the shutdown hurting it?
  22. Agreed. Slow pathetic start. 3k NAM at 12z looks great for the SE Ontario region. I see Tim is on back on the forum. Everything coming together. Upstream looks good. Big streamers off Georgian Bay.
