The CMC and Euro both have that system but EC's trough is very transient and does not get it down while the CMC's is too far east. We know its a wild long shot...basically a probable mirage in the middle of a desert.
It was the HRRR. 30 here and the clipper is moving in so not going to make it above freezing. Impressive today that card with snow on the (parked) show little loss of the bounty. Roads have cleared off but little melting otherwise.

Yea, that is what I was suggesting yesterday as to the thought that the road/driveway temps played a part in that. It was like that well before the sun became a factor.
