    Icon is colder than nam and in nyc area it’s only .5- inch different from 06z so I’d say it held steady??

    positive thing is; even though it sucks to mix at least sleet still accumulates and it’s not a cold rain or white rain lol

    Really all depends on how fast the transition happens. If models are to fast even by a couple hours nyc Long Island can achieve 10-12 I have to imagine

    There’s just bands riding the south shore crawling… belt parkway camera has been whiteout conditions for almost an hour

    Heaviest snow of the night, def seems to be some enhancement going on

    Looking at jfk radar looks like that ocean effect band is exploding with the band swinging from the west over Brooklyn and Staten Island…. Anyone awake ? lol

    Mayb we’ll get some enhancement nyc east from the ocean effect & new bands swinging in

    Pretty big ocean effect band forming from sandy hook out to Suffolk

    It extends up to the lakes still almost… and the ocean effect ones are becoming more widespread
