  1. we did have a few major wind events clear out some of the trees/branches plus I think the maintenance of trimming branches near power lines has improved since the last one but you are correct in that there is a lot of potential damage to be done.
  2. Sleet is fine - almost like snow - but ice is not good - sleet will not destroy trees and cut power - ice will. I am fine with snow/sleet - but if it is freezing rain - then cold rain is much much preferred.
  3. Should be short lived as it changes to rain and starts melting the snow in the trees and power lines Stay safe!

  5. I went to bed after seeing him say "trace to an inch for us here in Raleigh" - 20 inches later well it was all history!
