  2. 12z EURO Snow breaking out by Midnight Sunday - 31/28 4AM - 28/25 Moderate snow 7AM - HEAVY snow (Southern Mnts - AVL) - 25/22
  3. GSP will probably pull the warning trigger after the EURO/this afternoon's update.
  4. Finally got my camera set up. Want to get it a little higher. Stoney Mountain (Henderson) facing East towards Chimney Rock.
  5. Also shows AVL into Henderson losing a bit of moisture to ice, which I don't think will happen. GVL/Charlotte better buckle TF up.

  8. Snow starts tapering off around 10PM Sunday for the Southern Mountains.
  9. Back to HEAVY snow at 1PM Sunday. So far, snowing 10PM SAT - 1PM SUN with more to come. Brief period of ice. These rates have got to be good:
  10. GFS so far so good. ~10 hours of good snow before any ice shows itself.
  11. I got a new outdoor camera for Christmas for my station. Think I will finally put it up today!

  13. Hell, I was up before the sun the other week outside watching it snow for an hours or so. Thrilled with 1/2 an inch
  14. Anyone know what models are used for the NWS blend? 12Z:
  15. "While the low track along I-95 will allow WAA to cause p-type to transition to rain from snow well inland, this will not be the case in the higher terrain where WPC probabilities for 6 inches are above 70% from near Asheville, NC through the Laurel Highlands of PA, and it is likely many locations will receive more than 1 foot of snow." https://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/discussions/hpcdiscussions.php?disc=qpfhsd Mention of 1 foot is probably for the north.
  16. Don't start jumping now. It's the NAM at 60hrs. And it's still snowing.
  17. Lets not forget that it is the NAM... at 50+ hours...
