    Blizzard of 83 was my favorite snow event of all time, until that October event. Yes I’m old. I’ve seen 7’ of snow in Lackawanna, NY during the 2014 event, and that Halloween event surpasses it. .

    I should say I don’t trust NYC Central Park readings either. However, it does not mean it’s “wrong”. But throwing a station in the middle of dense vegetation does not make the station a “valid” station. I wonder where MUIs station is located. .

    I have a 3 day streak of 30s. 10/14....42.6F 10/15....38.1F 10/16....36.1F 10/17....32.9F I'm betting for first freeze at the homestead tonight.

    I was just visiting an Amish farm in Paradise where I buy my grass-fed beef and raw dairy. The farmer mentioned he had to start spreading the winter hay early due to the dry conditions. .
