For us in the Mehrimack Valley we get shadowed on these easterly inflow events.
Edit: shadowed might be wrong word.

and who is shadowing us to the east?
Sorry. Made an edit to post saying shadow is wrong word. I just feel like we end up in a subby zone between CF and Monads.

If a moderator sees this, I need help resetting my pw, I don't know it and my reset pw email isn't coming for some reason. Thx!
Good luck. I spent 6 months with this issue.

Euro is ugly for the 10th.
No need to shovel the 7th. 10th will wash it all away.

Doesn't the Canadian have a north bias usually?
All models have a bias in the direction that provides the least amount of snow.

Holy shit, over the past couple of days the low moved a good 100+ miles north on the models!
You mean a day 4-6 forecast moved the storm center 100 miles?

I'm finally to the point where I have enough experience that I really only lose it in the huge events.... I think the last one that broke me was the January 2022 Flizzard.
F that storm. Looked a dead nuts repeat of January 2015 at day 3 and then slowly slipped into a south a 95 monster.

I could see this coming with that bonkers 12z run.....people are going to have unrealistic expectations.
Take 6" of snow and sprint with this system.
Honestly the fact that it might require the snow blower is a win. Don't think I used it at all last year. Maybe once.

(psst, i think there's a chance that whole system decays into sw flow producer)
We've definitely seen that happen a couple times lately. Of course I don't remember storms like Will, so no idea exactly, but do recall a couple Day 7 cutters morphing into SWFEs or non-events.

12z guidance still has a storm. All that matters.

I wouldn’t wish for a meat grinder
that’s like waiting to get your chance to play on the pga tour and teeing off with a 5 iron
3-iron Tin Cup style....
Assuming the system progresses generally as modeled, since it is running into a brick wall... wondering if the northern fringe can squeeze out a decent deform band.

If we all just accept that December is a fall month and that winter is January to March 15, then we’ll all be better off mentally.

Is this the worst school vacation week ever? I’ve had 6 straight days of fog and rain.

People don't acknowledge a change until they shovel...what is getting "pushed back" and "can kicked" is the imminent chance for significant snowfall in said poster's BY.
Or any backyard at this point.

Am I crazy for not knowing it was going to rain today? I thought rain was tomorrows forecast.

Instead pf shoveling… we rake. Pine cones, leftover leaves and debris from last storm.
