I’m right in the middle of the cluster of lightning, but don’t hear much thunder at all. A few here and there but nothing compared to the strike indications. Heavy rain (for several minutes now). Wind was light, but mostly calm now.

Thanks, that helps. I suppose I still have to worry about the plane arriving at our gate though. Taking the kids to Disney and I’m already nervous about flying with super young kids, delays will be tough.

I don’t fly too often, is there a threshold for flights getting cancelled for ground wind speed? Leaving BWI tomorrow with little kids around 11am. Was wondering if the wind advisory will ruin our chances of taking off on time?

I think much of the disappointment or resentment in my head stems from some of the good long term pattern analysis that never materialized.

I just walked outside, very light ice glaze on surfaces, but I’m at 32.1 right now. Precip is coming down at a decent rate, I’d imagine it’s all rain.

Decent dusting of snow, some sleet, now some mix fz rain... 31.5 and rising. AAco probably entirely above freezing in an hour or two. Schools may even open on time. Nothing shocking here, but was hoping to hear stories of staying frozen longer, seems the consensus is temps rising fast.

I know this is a bias question, but lots of people post twitter or links to forecasts or discussion from local media/tv Mets... sometimes I can’t tell if they’re added value or if posters are just mocking the Mets. with that said, which Baltimore/Washington tv/social media mets seem to have most credibility here, and which ones have the tendency to be the butt of a joke?

Was exepecting higher winds by now. It’s barely breezy. Peaked at 51.1 at 4:49am and down to 40.8 now. snow didn’t survive much, a few piles here and there.

That map added Anne Arundel county, northern PG county, and southern Harford County from < 1" to the 1" - 2" zones. Realistically speaking, I'm interested in the impact. The timing will be everything. Flakes fly during commute and its havoc despite being lite. If it doesn't start til 0z, then we're probably in the clear and most will barely notice.

Even as a light snow event, with timing in the afternoon, potentially during rush hour, this is certainly going to be a buzz around the office. I take joy in watching the mass exodus at work, upon the first sighting of snowflakes. Special weather statement says stay tuned for potential winter weather advisories later tonight or tomorrow. I just saw three Anne Arundel County dump trucks with plows hooked up. They actually looked spotless, brand new, heading east on MD Rt.32. Probably coincidental, maybe they were brand new or maybe they were headed to/from getting serviced for the Winter. Either way, it put a smile on my face sitting in traffic

The malicious code is hard to find as it is encrypted and appears under certain conditions only. The malicious code looks like this (virus is framed red) Usually it is injected in the main template (in the database) and in the template cached copy (in the file) The malicious code can be detected by searching for “strstr($mds”, “preg_replace($i” or “#c#.substr” within database dump or skin cache files. Forum administrators should remove the code from the database and then clean skin cache to completely remove the malware from the site. Do not delete the code in cached skins only as it’ll appear again upon cache rebuild.
