I take it all back. This just got neat.

Had some kind of white slop fall from the sky for a bit.

Each slop granule immediately split into pure hydrogen and oxygen from the intense heat of my lava-like yard and driveway. I might have heard a child cry in the distance.

Soooo.. The good news is that Thurs, going into Friday at 2-3am, I have to start driving to Florida to catch a boat for vacation... Using standard Murphy compliance, my needing to drive on 95 means that this snow will definitely happen.

I'll probably be ok though, right? I mean, I am not too worried about plowing through a few inches of snow. 

I am pretty amazed at how resilient our roads have been. It has been snowing pretty decently all day, but I feel like we have been stuck at the same snow cover all day. 

We have been having a pretty nice snowfall since about 12-12:30. It doesn't really jive with what I see on the radar.

Lets enjoy. I've made sure to not salt my sidewalks, to prevent insulting the snowgods.

Just lost power for 30 seconds.

AACo Schools just issued a 2hr delay for tomorrow.

Starting to notice a bit of house creaking noises here and there.

Yeah, I guess this whole thing just caught me off guard. I had gone back into weather hibernation since the snow event vaporized.
