It’s the 92nd anniversary of a major paster up here. CON had over 18” and the COOP here in Franklin had 35”. I went back and looked at the form earlier today and noticed the observer put “blue snow” in the comments.

    Move.

I’m 350’ up, quietly in the woods, an hour from Boston.  Jackpotted the All Holy Blizzard of 1978, Jackpotted March 2019 as well, got over 100” in 2004-2005, and 2014-2015, had snow on the ground from December 26 to April 15 in 2002-2003, and have gotten 24”+ 7 times since 1992.  IT’S FINE.

I have just been getting Completely Screwed recently.  In Every Which Way Possible.

    Do you ever stop whining

Do you ever START Understanding that I had arguably the Worst Day in my Weather Life and almost 100% of the Rest of you had an Overperforming day and I have to Sit Here and Read everyone else playing in the Snow?  And Every Facet of this storm, EVERY One, is Positive for you guys, and negative for me?  And the Real Hell starts Tomorrow when everything is going to cut everyone's tires since no one could shovel?

Do you also understand I haven't seen 12" of snow here in 6 Years??  Stop Bit*hing at my Bi*ching.  I have not even seen a 6" Storm in 3 freaking years.

Ya know I as Always, ask a Serious Question on here, and NO ONE Answers.  Everyone just BS's and jokes at me.  ESPEICLALY after one of the Worst Days in my Weather Life.  Maybe #1, since at Least in the Fujiwawa of 2013, I didn't do Nearly the worst.

Again - If we All in that Red and Yellow Blotch of the radar, which was Huge, got Thunder, Did Anyone get ThunderSleet or ThunderSnow in that when it came across SNW?

Everyone in the pike region got 5-6”.  Logan measured 5.4” at 7AM today.  That was well modeled and you are like 50 miles south of Ray.

Logan, Never, ever ever, EVER Eeeever Beat Me.  I'm at 350 Feet and West.  And yet., This is like the 5th time the past 22 winters it has.  WTF is Happening to RI??

And that was Never Modeled.  Everyone had Boston and me getting the same.  Only when you got Past the NH Line did you start going 6+.  As I did when I woke up in Southern NH.  7.5" Now up there.  But for Logan to get almost 6 out on the Freaking Ocean?  Me in the hills can't get 3"?  AGAIN?  WTF.

22" for the Season.  This Miserable, Atrocious, Season.

THAT STILL SOMEHOW HAS GIVEN MORE SNOW THAN THE PAST 2 Seasons!!

And Remember Guys - I WAS NOT HOME for the 2022 Storm!  I haven't seen 12" since March of 2019!!

  6. Of the 600 Hours or so I have shoveled in my Lift, THIS TODAY has been the Worst.  You are better off Shuffling your Feet to move the Glop (of Less than 3" as we couldn't even get 3!  But that's the perfect disaster amount for these conditions too.) than shoveling it.  There is 2"-4" of water IN THE DRIVEWAY!  And I live on a cliff!  AND it's Ice UNDERNEATH the 2"-4" of water that's Under the 2" of Glop Snow.  If you try to Direct the water (WHILE Getting Heavy Rained on BTW) so your place doesn't flood, you Can't, because as Warm as it is, it's still Too Cold for the ice chunks to melt.  So they get Stuck in your paths EVEN if you try to direct Every Freaking Water Molecule with your shovel, carefully as to not get the glop chunks.  It doesn't work.

MOREOVER, I want to At Least have a big patch of untouched Flat Snow that will turn to total Ice and have Some kind of fun with that, BUT I CAN NOT!  Because if I Don't get rid of everything here by nightfall (Which I can't Anyway, it's impossible to shovel this crap), it's not going to get above freezing until Friday (after we probably miss the Big Storm cause it'll be Too Cold and Out to Sea??), and Deep Freeze Monday night and Tuesday night AND TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS Tonight??  Or you F-ing Joking?

So the Worst Shoveling I've Ever Had, in my Life, is only Part 1 Today?  I have no words in the dictionary to describe this.  I've given up on the water situation and glop chunks everywhere, and now they are going to be Set in Stone by tomorrow morning??  Noooo.  No No.

And On top of ALL of it - Ray, who's barely north of me, has 14" of a Base.  I'm getting DESTROYED with Noah's Ark Rain Amounts and down to 2" Maybe as a base, and you can't step on it or else you're hitting a Pond or Mud.

    F***!!!   THIS!!!!  WINTER!!!!!!!!      :gun_bandana::raining::underthewx::flood:

  7. RAY GOT 6”?!  Seriously!?  And I distantly got only 2.5”??  WTF.  I don’t live that far south.  Changed to rain at freaking 3-6am.

Back to the Historic Sleet I saw in Southern New Hampshire, I swear to you this was over 1 in./h of sleep, which I don’t know how much that would translate if it was Snow, as we All know how difficult it is to accumulate sleet.  The video is in the text, but here is a screenshot of the video as the sleep was pouring off to where you swore it was water.

Un.  Real.  7.5” SN & Sleet Total up there.

Whereas I Just got back to Rhode Island, and it’s absolutely pouring like a hurricane, even though I still get stuck behind plows on the highway to make the day worse.  The pack is down to 4”, where it is 16” where I was.  Puddles Everywhere here.

    THURSDAY BETTER F-ING COME!!!!

  8. Here’s what I don’t understand, AT ALL.

I’m up in Southern New Hampshire.  It’s Been Pouring Gorgeous Snow for hours and hours.  We only have 1.5”.  The Back Edge is Already into and past Albany.

How are we getting the 6”-9” predicted?

What the heck's going on this morning. Everyone is freaking out. I swear this forum is bipolar LOL. Yesterday everybody was up in the sky today. They're freaking out like there's a apocalypse coming.

Regardless of what happens, it is what it is. Taking the NAM and running with it at the moment is very silly. Not that it doesn't have any impact on what's going to happen with Saturday night's storm, but the other larger models are still looking like they are a go with the storm for our area. Let's see where the 12z shows and go from there. But man, stop the freak out people!

    You must be New Here.

Will is our Resident Genius & Historian, ORH means Worcester by the way.  Ray is our long term forecaster and Toaster Suicideer.  Watch out when he’s getting Screw Zoned, can be worse than me.  Everyone Loves Gerry.  Kevin Annoys us All, but when you first get annoyed, expect your official AmericanWX Boards Patch, it’ll come in the mail by way of our old pal Messenger.

Oh, & I’m the Accordion Player.  Ya.  Dinner Mints are on the left.  Snow Weeinies Anonymous meets on Saturday at Typhoon Tip’s house.  (Make sure you learn some stats about Typhoon Tip before attending)

  10. I want to stay up for this extra regeneration batch, but it’s still hot a ways to go and it feels DEADLY Cold (after being 43 freaking degrees at Noon).  Massive differences in amounts on different surfaces since it was so wet before the recover.

    4.25”, and counting.

10.5” Season  (Somehow within 6” of beating BOTH of the past 2 seasons)
