  1. Does everyone have a red banner about this or did I get flagged?
  2. I did not even know there is a banter thread here. I keep one tab on my phone on this thread and refresh as needed. Sheesh.
  3. The system causing Tuesdays potential outbreak down south looks like it could cause some storms down towards the Trainer.
  4. I don't know if anyone else saw it, but in the midst of today's insanity, @Blizzard92 lost a job. This isn't to make any kind of political point, but I came here from that dude's Wunderground. I consider him to be one of the smartest weather people I've ever interacted with. And he's one of us. The NOAA/NWS debacle is going to have some real world impacts as we enter severe season. Let's just hope the trash canning of a lot of smart people doesn't result in a lot of dead ones.
  5. Yeah I'm alright with there not being a widespread outbreak here. I was in Wormleysburg back in 2010 and we had an outbreak where Camp Hill actually used a siren. If I never have to go through that again, I'll be okay.
  6. I think this is more Louisiana and Mississippi for a tornado outbreak, but severe storms should reach as far as Atlanta and then eventually parts of MD and VA.
  7. You can go ahead and put next Tuesday down as a potential red letter day in Dixie Alley.
  8. I was about to call it's mother a fat whore.
  9. Been pouring all night here. Very nice rainfall.
  10. Erie had 95% ice coverage this winter. Insane. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7467734
  11. Aren't you a little old to be saying "ight?"
  12. Listen Reverend, I'm the entirety of the choir. But the sermon is played.
  13. Just stop. I agree but you're not actually saying anything by doing this.
  14. You're in Bedford right? I maintain that the area from Bedford to towards Selinsgrove and Middleburg are the snow hole. The ole Ridge and Valley screw zone.
  15. My three year old would kill me. He found a pair of goggles the other day and put them on saying "big pool!" Has me thinking about whether or not the freezing water at the Clearfield YMCA would be just warm enough to satiate his swim desire until the earth warms.
  16. I think it's a given. Nina in place. We're likely cold and wet until Memorial Day.
  17. The Nanners are playing tonight. It's on the YouTube. Spring is coming.
  18. This CWA has been a bit splintered this season. Up here the first half of winter was pretty snowy. We never had an event over I think 6 inches give or take, and most were of the 2-3 inch variety, but it's been cold from late November until the current time with only a few warm days. I don't think we have had a 60 degree day since before Thanksgiving. I may be wrong about that. I think we've had only a few 50 degree days and not many more 40 degree days. I know that hasn't been the case in the SE portion of this CWA, but this has certainly been a long, hard winter up here. I am hoping we are rewarded with a long, pleasant (warm enough to keep the water comfortable but not too hot to melt balls away in minutes) spring and summer with some outbreaks.
  19. Awe look, nature made @MAG5035a tiny little half pipe.
