  1. The leaf blower I’m going to switch to has a noise level of less than/equal to 65 db which is the equivalent to laughter.
  2. My electric mower is super quiet. I was shocked how quiet it was. I have a corded leaf blower but will be getting the battery powered one soon that used the same battery as my mower
  3. Yeah…I wanted to pull over and take a few but couldn’t.
  4. Oaks are so lame. They eventually go brown and then just sit on the branches until November.
  5. Not peak here of course but really starting to pop. The sky this evening in Barre MA with the foliage was breathtaking. Sorry no pics
  6. Fook the 4 wheelers that blast through the off limits DCR land that abuts my house. No one cares... I really don't mind them passing at a normal pace through, but why the need to rev the engines for no reason...
  7. 9 of the top 10 New England snow totals in KevinMA's table were N of the Pike last winter
  8. 2.44” here for the event. As Scooter knows, we keep measuring in inches.
  9. Tell me about it... this is such an annoying pattern... fook the Hadley Cell or whatever we are stuck in
  10. Tip will be writing a gigantic post about it that will never get posted…
  11. I wonder if today is the day the internet crashes
  12. Sunday was pretty cloudy most of the day in my area... rain moved in in the late afternoon
  13. Starting in my mid 40s I had occasional terrible back spasms/strains whatever’s. They were awful. Rest, heat, anti inflammatory OTC meds helped. I’ve started to do a lot more exercise in the past 18 or so months (since Covid hit) and try to do a bunch of core and stretching/yoga/Pilates type stuff along with weights. That has helped a ton. Good luck to you
  14. Not for nothing but the South Pole has been very cold…. Just wanted to tweak some people https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2021/10/01/south-pole-coldest-winter-record/
  15. For those who want their heads to explode
  16. Tampa Bay will mop the floor with whoever goes against them
  17. Warm and wet as far as the eye can see. Extended late summer.
  18. It is definitely a mix of issues. Infrastructure, labor, too much of some materials in some places, not enough in others. Will take a couple of years to sort out methinks
  19. Yeah. No real cold for a while. Autumns of yore are a memory
