I wish we could get another 03/19/56 or April Fools Day 1997 late season big one to lift the spirits. Unfortunately nature is going to do what nature wants to do, and it doesn't matter how much we want it to happen.
Send me a 3/14/23 please

That’s how it was here last year. What are you at for a total this season so far?

The only way it could be worse is if we had no snow, 15-16 was the worse and this year is going to beat it.
What did you have that year?
never mind. Looks like you had 50”
I had 30” that season and I’m a little ahead thanks to January
-
I had more snow in November than in December and February combined. And that was only around 2.5”

Depends on the setting. The sun really is an offset factor now - much more so than even a week ago. Take a similar afternoon back then, and you wouldn't have that same affect.
Today we disk golfed Buffum. When exposed to the wind off the backwater lake the chill made it horrible. Get around the other side of the groves where the sun blazed and wind dropped off, the fake warmth lied its way to 60.
My son went disc golfing yesterday morning at Barre Falls. It was 27F.

I had more snow last year than this year. You see a strong Nino setting up in the fall.. you run away fast from a snowy winter in the NE.. which we correctly forecast
I had 32” last year and 30.5” this year
I had more than twice as much last year as so far this year. It has been pretty poor hear other than a few weeks in January

That’s good since I need to reseed. I’ll take it. Hopefully you get to enjoy a crusty pack for a few more weeks.
I’m kinda shocked that I have had full snowcover (well, mostly) since…Jan 7? But it has looked pretty nasty lately. Swiss cheese basically. The dusting we are getting actually helps with the appearance

Did mud season 2023 ever end?
No shit. Our road is somewhat paved. But in mud season it is horrific. Not the same as a dirt road but disgusting.

I would forgive two years worth of winter sins for that.
Sorry. “We “ got that last March. You get nothing.

I would defininitely weigh the ensembles over the OP this far out. But I doubt those verify verbatim

37.5 or so for the season after 2 very small events this week
This will probably wind up being my lowest seasonal in a while

1.25” appears to be it. Still some light snow.

There's a chance for that here too lol. Although I would cap it at an inch here.
If I get an inch it would be the biggest snowfall of February here. lol.
Someone has to mention Feb 23 obs
in New England

It would help my skiing season.
