  1. Snow has finally stopped here in South Hall County, Georgia. Ended up with almost 7 inches. Can't complain.
  2. Got just over an inch so far Just south of Flowery Branch, Georgia with a chilly 22 degrees.
  3. Radar is filling in nicely in N. Georgia. It's already snowing at my buddy's house in Dahlonega.
  4. I live one exit north on 985. Close to Flowery Branch near Lanier Islands Pkwy.
  5. I am from Upstate NY but have lived in Buford, GA for 15 years. I expect to get 2-4, but we shall see!
  6. 4 inches would shut down schools and businesses for five days down here.
  7. North Gwinnett and into Hall County should see 2 or 3 inches.
  8. I think areas north and east of ATL can see up to four inches. Not weenie wishcasting - just look what the Euro is spitting out for Buford/Gainesville. Athens could easily see six inches.
  9. The 12Z RGEM looks solid for Atlanta metro and points north and east. Hoping we continue the westward trend.
  10. Still 2 plus days to go. The initial thump will overproduce in NE GA. Just my incredibly uneducated opinion.
  11. That front end bump drops an inch or two of dry powder in NE Georgia. I feel like that will overperform.
  12. Big swing and a miss for the Atlanta metro. Hopefully we get the western trend/earlier phase solution in subsequent runs...
  13. I have been thinking that same thought. It's like this is the NC/VA board.
  14. I'm in Hall County about an hour southwest of the SC boarder off 85. It's going to be close. We need a couple more runs where we continue the westward trend.
  15. Atlanta metro (especially eastern areas) is back in the game. A couple more west trending runs and all of NE GA will be in on the action.
  16. Atlanta/NE GA is back in the game. Let's hope the trend continues. We have four days before the action starts, so a lot can happen.
  17. It was raining and 33 fifteen minutes ago, but the temp is down to 31 and it is sleeting heavily here in south Hall County, GA. Crazy.
  18. 30 degrees now with heavy freezing rain in south Hall County, GA.
  19. 27 degrees and freezing drizzle here south of Gainesville, GA. We got about a half inch of sleet but it looks like freezing rain through the rest of the day. Hoping we don't lose power.
