I just measured 10 inches in several places in Astoria Queens. That seems to line up with these totals from NYEMG -- https://x.com/nycemergencymgt/status/2025899208255909995?s=20 It seems parts of the city have not received as much snow as other areas. And its kind of letting up at the moment.

I only measured 8 inches on balcony in in Astoria Queens, but that seems low and feels closer to a foot outside. There are also 2 to 3 foot drifts developing on some sidewalks.
Light snow starting to be whipped around pretty good by the wind in Astoria Queens. I think we are on the board with a coating of snow on the ground, excluding streets and sidewalks.
Light snow in Astoria Queens. It's starting to stick to tree branches and parked vehicles. Pleasantly surprised. I was prepared for only white rain till later this afternoon.
