I'm a half mile from 81 in West Hanover Township. It changed over to snow around 5:30 and is barely laying on the grass. Lot of wood left to chop for any accumulation on paved services.
Where are all the people yesterday saying the roads were going to cave during the day in Harrisburg. Going to be lucky if the atmosphere caves to snow before dark. Currently 40 in West Hanover Township (17112)
I just don't see heavy accumulations in Harrisburg. Too warm prior to the storm, too warm during Sunday, late February sun angle. Going to need heavy snow during the night and I don't think we see much of that.
My high so far for the day is 48.
I think anything that occurs during the day in Harrisburg is going to have a hard time accumulating on the roads especially if they pre-treat. My weather station hasn't been below freezing since the morning of Dec 22.
