  1. Nothing on the concrete sidewalks on streets yet. 35 degrees. I don't think they even pre-treated the roads.
  2. Also that new warning amount of 2 - 8 inches is a cover your butt forecast.
  3. I'm a half mile from 81 in West Hanover Township. It changed over to snow around 5:30 and is barely laying on the grass. Lot of wood left to chop for any accumulation on paved services.
  4. Where are all the people yesterday saying the roads were going to cave during the day in Harrisburg. Going to be lucky if the atmosphere caves to snow before dark. Currently 40 in West Hanover Township (17112)
  5. Definitely won't during the day, maybe at night if it snows hard enough.
  6. I mean the start is less than 20 hours away, NWS going to wait until it starts snowing to upgrade to a warning/downgrade to advisory
  7. I just don't see heavy accumulations in Harrisburg. Too warm prior to the storm, too warm during Sunday, late February sun angle. Going to need heavy snow during the night and I don't think we see much of that. My high so far for the day is 48.
  8. Sleet mixing in at times in West Hanover Township (by CD High) NORTH of I-81
  9. Lights flickered twice around 5:30 in West Hanover Township.
  10. I don't know if it is pouring down freezing rain or sleet, but there is what my driveway looks like. Temp is 27.5 in West Hanover Township.
  11. Temps creeping up in West Hanover Township 30.2, dew point of 12 is going to be the saving grace for frozen precipitation.
  12. I think anything that occurs during the day in Harrisburg is going to have a hard time accumulating on the roads especially if they pre-treat. My weather station hasn't been below freezing since the morning of Dec 22.
  13. 36 degrees with 22 dew point in West Hanover Township. Not expecting much.
  14. Final check in from West Hanover Township: 1.5-2". My in-laws in North Wales outside of Philly got 7-8".
  15. 8PM Update. Still just light snow. Streets/driveways/sidewalks all just wet. Temp 34.3
  16. Light Snow in West Hanover Twp, melting on the roads. Temp of 34.5.
  17. Sounds like a partial changeover to sleet in West Hanover Township.
  18. Roads are awful. Drove from West Hanover Township (by CD High) to Penn State Nyes Road and back between 8 and 9 this morning. Took 22 because I thought it would be better than Jonestown Road. 22 was actually worse than the side streets. Someone was stuck going up the hill on Piketown/Blue Ridge right after you pass under 81 going toward 22.
  19. Kraft did this to himself. If you are going to fire a guy in the middle of the season, you better have the next guy locked down and ready to announce. I'm sure Sitake is a good coach, but I just don't see the culture fit. Who do you think is a better recruiter in inner city Philly, Sitake or Franklin. I'm taking Franklin all day.
