  1. No, it means the trigger (cold pool, elevated mixing layer, cooling heights) is from above the surface layer. The instability is high above you.
  2. I haven't heard of that being the case. I suspect it's the fact total lightning is visible at night. You see better.
  3. I just like the lightning. But yes, that too. A good elevated event can last hours, not 20 min
  4. I'm thinking of live streaming the event from my back patio with hourly updates, with one mixed drink or beer required per report. Continues until I can no longer go.
  5. I'm probably going to set up in Dennisport. Head down tonight. Golf tomorrow. Storm Friday.
  6. I think we might see a lot of tree damage Dedham east right to weymouth and to some south shore towns. Nothing crazy. Maybe similar to what cape Ann had last night.
  7. Little ball of hate near Rockland heading to Norwell.
  8. I wish we saw more for se MA. It was stabilized though.
  9. I'm on dinner break in car now. Good timing.
  10. HOLY SHIT it became a monster in just a few frames!
  11. BOX is taking enhanced wording to 70mph
  12. If you have radarscope loop the area around BOS... The minute that Seabreeze boundary hits a cell its like fuel on a fire in terms of lightning strikes. Cool to see.
  13. Probably going to see this line die right by the city with resulting moderate rain and occasional rumbles. But the western end will slide se west of the boundary and continue to be strong. Long story short, could be good for interior se MA and south shore
  14. Just had a massive increase in lightning east of Dedham. I'd be happy if I was at home in dot.
  15. Lookout Hopkinton Millis Walpole.... Seeing wind pick up and increase in lightning
  16. There's virtually no wind north of 90. Along 90 too. Looks like mostly rain in the areas east and north of that line.
