I understand that part of it. But as Bob said, we aren't seeing an increase in hospitalizations or deaths like the unvaccinated states and those are the important metrics. Elective surgeries being canceled down there and icu's are full in Texas again

Again, it's kinda weak you are using 900 cases on the Cape as some kind of rebuttal to the fact every GOP southern state is having a massive spike. What is your point? Liberals can get sick too?

I can't see this continuing more than the next 6 months, the trend will be clear that there is no getting rid of COVID and society will adjust accordingly. We will do better and better with vaccinations to the point the outbreaks won't be as serious
