    6 degrees for the low this morning. 10 mph wind. i use Google Earth for checking out fishing spots on the river. It will show shoals and underwater cribs from the logging era in this area. Williamsport at one time used to be the lumber capital.

    The 18Z Nam How many times have I heard ignore it, it’s only the 18 Z Nam. Been a tough winter Plane crash they figured there was a 48 mph wind gust at the time it happened.

    Well back after some time off, a couple deaths with people I knew and a severe cold laid me up. 25 degrees this morning. still windy…51 mph gust. Appears I didn’t really miss much. Just a lot of ice with sleet.

    Appears the river has around 4-6” of ice just checking from shore. Local lake has about 10” of ice.

    Cold one out this morning Bubb 14 degrees here. Thought Fox weather had better coverage for Phil than TWC. Appeared TWC was having satellite problems.

    35 degrees, light rain. To me it seems like most of these rain predictions/forecasts most generally come up short. Definitely we can use some rain or snow.

    My thoughts on global warming: Way more housing and a lot of Forrest’s are gone. So it would only make sense. Here is what I find interesting. Check out the daily temperatures. And the record highs and lows for that day. Some of the high temperature records were set over 50 years ago or more. One has to wonder how much government is controlling our climate.

    Nice to see a banter thread. Though it didn’t really bother me to much mixed in with the weather. Not much of a sports person these days, especially with the way the NFL is being run. Definitely think there is some corruption going on. On the political front. Glad we are finally getting some watch on wasteful spending. It’s been long over due and needed. Disgusted with some of the people in the senate. Purple hair and all. Scratching my head on how these people are in office.

    41 degrees this morning and windy. High wind gust yesterday was 37 mph. Calling for some white outs today especially north of I-80. Most of the snow is gone, only places snow is left is the shady spots. Thanks to everyone posting the models. One request….could you get us one big storm this winter

    33 degrees and snow flurries. Supposed to pick up maybe an inch this morning.

    -5 degrees out in Wyoming this morning. I had 7° for the low this morning. Currently 38 degrees. But the wind makes it seem chilly.

    Also helps when the sun is out, makes it feel warmer….not a fan of them cold cloudy days unless we’re getting snow.

    10 degrees at 5:30 am. Currently 8 degrees. Some frozen pipes in the area. Bassmasters fishing classic down in Georgia this week. A lot of them guys are taking it really tough. Between the roads and whiteout conditions on the water the other day with below freezing temperatures . A lot of them guys never saw anything like it.

    You know it’s not your year when the last storm you got less than an inch. And Alabama got 11.5” Canderson not touching the hand thing…especially with Vaseline on them.

    My snow equipment is just handy to have. Even if I don’t always use it. But it’s must have for my 250 drive. I blew my drive off on 3 different snows this week. Would have been icey mess if I wouldn’t have. Snows was only an inch. 3 degrees for my low this morning.
