  1. Right along the water would be pretty intense 2 feet of snow and gust over 50 MPH. @Syrmax you chasing?
  2. There will be definitely be a cutter, but not buying 3 day torch like some of the models are showing. I do think we max out around 50 degrees ahead of that system though. Downsloping never fails. GFS went quite a bit further SE This is warmest frame of GFS
  3. There is actually a sneaky small wave/clipper late Sunday/early Monday too before the warmup. RGEM nails wolf
  4. The EPS are much less torchy too. The "warm" weeklies are now cold. Weeklies are useless.
  5. The GEFS are pretty far SE with next weeks storm, they look nothing like the OP. Wouldn't be surprised to see 18Z be less cutterish.
  6. GFS has it too. Weds/Thurs we go mid/upper 40s. Look at that cold air behind though
  7. There is no common wind direction by month, it all depends on the upper level pattern. You can get NW winds in November or in February. Obviously its more likely to get colder air in Feb vs Nov. A couple years back there was a 2 week period of SW flow in February that hammered watertown with 2-3 LES events, but Buffalo didn't get hit because of a frozen lake.
  8. Climo always wins out. You guys are in for some huge years coming up. This year still isn't over, Ontario doesn't freeze. February can be a good LES month for you.
  9. He won't live forever I want to look back at all the good times we had. Thanks Dave
  10. There was a poster named Logan from eastern ny that used to post a lot on here back in the day.
  11. The warmup on GFS is one day long on wednesday. Your snow should be fine.
  12. I was on eastern at conversion under different name forgot what I used but I was there for like a year I think. I mainly posted on accuweather at the time. I think it converted in Nov of 2010? I want to say we lost a few eastern NY posters and a few WNY posters. There was a very active poster from Jamestown that went MIA.
