The Casino isn't a bad chase idea either. The euro does make me a bit nervous that you mix, but I still feel pretty good about the event there.
i'm ok if it mixes for a bit because I really want thundersleet. and if the thump the GFS and the NAM had at 0z happens, even better. we were in the Keys for the January 2022 storm, so it's been a while since i've seen a decent snow.

See that’s the evasive jibber jabber that helps models stay incompetent
You are un successfully trying to parse that each 6 hour presentation is not indicative of upcoming weather but rather a “tool” Tool of what and for what? Why predicting forthcoming weather of course, see tool and Kaos get thrown around during deflections
models don’t predict. people do.

Do you (or anyone else who knows) mind explaining how someone would be able to read the soundings to determine if it looks more white than wet, or the basics at least?
https://thecloudonline.net/blog/basic-skew-t-analysis-snow-or-no-snow/
there are dozens of sites out there, depending on how in-depth you want to go.

Alright my math teacher is making me get up in front of the class and present about the weekend storm, anyone have any idea on what to say because all I got right now is that there are currently 3 scenarios (strong storm but too warm EURO/ICON, strong storm and cold RGEM/CMC, weak and cold/weak and warm GFS/NAM) and there no way to know which one will happen. I have till 11:08 to prepare my statement...
did she ask us to write it, or you?

i move that everyone is henceforth required to use the description “Mason-Dixon Line” when discussing the snowier areas north and west of the cities.

so far the storm is matching up with the NWS experimental products from the end of last week that showed areas west of the Blue Ridge getting the bulk of the snow.

imagine being mad that a model “gave me less snow”. NONE OF IT IS REAL.

i wish object permanence could be taught.

Haha. Didnt know that. Can you imagine the temper tantrum he threw when that happened?
he said something really crude to a female poster. he was always crude toward women here, including me, and I celebrate his permanent absence.
