Still making the rounds-at least you don't have to isolate for 5 days anymore....feel better!

just got back from 9 days in southern california. i think i have to move back. 4 marginal snow events and this crap weather is not worth the cost of living here

I may have to move somewhere else if these late season blocks become the new norm. Can’t deal with these shitty aprils anymore after cool and rainy winters. Absolutely miserable
can't lie, moving back to southern california is becoming a real possibility... the 3-4 snows a year isn't worth it for all the other crap weather we deal with

i dont understand the need for snow when we're experiencing weather like this. low humidity 70s??? besides some type of 93 redux this is as good as march could get

what we've learned so far this winter:
we can't look at longe range models and really BELIEVE that we are in for something good
lets be honest with ourselves, this winter trumped 22-23, and thats saying something. up here in wp it snowed 5? times. It was distinctly beautiful each and every time. collectively, we should put this winter in the rearview and look forward to spring. time to rejuvenate and get outdoors, we'll all be here doing the same ol' thing again this upcoming november.
@snowman19 im with you on this one. stick a fork in it, this winter is done.
my next concern is the pac needs to chill so california gets some dry and above normal temps for april, got a week long skate trip out there, and after trudging through this winter, my seasonal depression needs to see the sun out there

Getting the feeling we are just about done with snowfall around the area after Saturday
honestly, if we get a little snowfall this weekend i'll take that run. im about done with snow for this season. i enjoy it more in december and january. once feb rolls around i start itching for some warmer weather. yesterdays event was really nice to see, and kind of brought a sort of closure to me for this winter. anything else is the cherry on top

I dunno just a guy with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in meteorology, who’s currently going for a Ph.D. In meteorology. You know…someone who really knows his stuff. Someone you might want to listen to. Just saying….
you could post winning lottery numbers and some select individuals would still hit you with oscar meyer mode

yesterday had known ice involved? That could be a difference. NWS trigger for advisory I think is higher than 1-3".

as a former, and probably future SD resident, yes weather wise it's a bit boring, but you're close to some really cool things, snow in the mountains during winter and the crazy thunderstorms out in the desert during summer. your home just happens to be in paradise
