I do think sleet because of it... more specifically, I think snow to sleet to at least some freezing rain for a spell that soaks into some snow and sleet and creates a nightmarish cement everywhere in my area once the temps plummet... and I think I'd rather plain rain at 45º F that washes away 3" of thump snow.

Times like these, I wish I had the ol' sleet gif from back in the day. I feel like no matter what, it'll have some usefulness in the next three weeks.

I will say there's been a subtle shift SE the past 24 hours but that doesn't mean much since we could easily see a sharp reversal in that trend at any time. We could see 2 or 3 reversals with the amount of time left.
