This doesn’t look that impressive down here in southern CT. Seems like low 90s for maxes with moderate humidity which happens every year. Longevity might be what makes this a bit more memorable.
Yea. No one will remember summeh details though. Unless there is a cane, it’s summeh…it gets hot.

Listened to some during our drive but then spent the afternoon walking around Niagara Falls and was pumped to the move Rory made and deflated to hear Bryson sink the winning par putt. Wish I could have watched it. I bet this is the major I watch the least of though. If the weather is nice this time of year I feel guilty sitting on the couch watching tv.
Yea. I was watching while playing a round myself….attached the phone to the cart.

Yea Bryson made a sick 60yd bunker shot on 18 to win it but Rory gave the trophy away. That’s gotta sting more than all of his other close losses and as the drought gets longer…the doubts grow deeper.
Great US Open though. Loved the test.

Happy father’s day…enjoy the perfect COC.

My dad just finished day one of chemo. Man, does cancer suck. Like really, really suck. I knew it sucked, but until it hit home, I didn’t realize the magnitude of suck. Hope everyone out there is having a nice Saturday. Enjoy the nice weather, your health, your family and friends, and forget the rest. Sorry to get all mushy…it’s just been a roller coaster few weeks.
He will beat the suck. Stay positive. All the best!

Easy to get in trouble, the 13th hole is a bear.
Yea. It got Finau and Aberg and practically put them out of contention.

Now this is a US open. Margin for error is very small. Bryson played lights out today but all it takes is one missed shot into trouble or a bad break as the course keeps baking and it’s anyone’s jug tomorrow.

Got dark with a couple rumbles, I guess that's it, got humid this afternoon. I was driving most of the day, I got out to get a drink at a store and the humidity slapped me in the face.
You’ll be slapped in face with COC this weekend instead.

Can picture Tip with a band aid under his eye and Nike head band dancing to this as the Euro rolls in.
Tip applying band aids on face as each gfs run adds another 0.5F to the max temp profile…

Rory just got back together with his wife. Maybe that will help him. Not sure how you can’t have Bryson after his showings in the first two majors. Scheffler is obvious, Schauffle and Morikawa are playing well. I would never count out Koepka either. There’s always a wildcard but I’m not sure who. Maybe Keegan Bradley because he’s been playing decently and he grew up in VT.
This course doesn’t seem to set up well for Bryson. It’s long sure but what I’ve read/watched is it will require a great short game with flops and finesse shots since the greens mostly fall away from the pins like a dome. This is the total opposite of wingfoot. The analysts could be wrong though and after the past couple majors, Bryson has gotten a lot easier to root for so I hope he does well.

No Scheffler/Schauffele?
Yes Scottie is obvious so besides him. Xander is overpriced so from a betting perspective, I’m fading him.

Could equal the number of 90° days we had all last summer just next week. As much as I hate the heat as long as we don't get the 20 inches of rain a month like last summer I can handle it.
That’s the key, yup. Need it dry. Last summeh was one of the worst warm seasons I can ever recall.
