  1. Haven’t said otherwise. In fact, I recommended patience a few days back as these pattern shifts are often delayed. It’s just weather though, we discuss and have fun.
  2. The overall look is trash. How quickly the DT classic pattern vanished...as quick as the pope at an orgy.
  3. Hope this is just another case of a delayed but not denied favorable pattern. We’ll see after the new year. Nobody has faith in him, anymore.
  4. I was a little baked this morning (Santa has a busy night ahead) so I reread the last page...I thought we were talking about how many 30+ hour, not inches, storms that have happened lol. Yea...so I’ve never experienced 30”, best was 26-28” in Jan 96. Last 20”+ event is Jan 11. I think I’ve had 4 in 35yrs living in the states. I’m surprised you’ve only had 3 up there though. Must have alot of 16-18” type events.
  5. They had that with Isias too. If we have another statewide power failure starting tomorrow...what else is left for 2020 to bone us with?
  6. With our shitty infrastructure in CT, 45mph will do enough damage.
  7. You right. Probably a handful of them for MA
  8. Actually...could be more than 2 especially for east zones where weenie flakes hang on for dear life.
  9. Baby steps towards blizzards and no power?
  10. Only one for me was Jan 96 while living in CNJ. We’ll need Will to count for SNE...there’s probably just one or two I’d imagine.
  11. It’s not like we going to big nye parties so as long as there are no power disruptions...ice it over before the snow comes back in Jan.
  12. We tried to calm the angry wolf yesterday but once he latches on, hope fades.
  13. lol if Jeff ever wants a new avatar he won’t get it in a non blocky pattern...that’s for sure. 100hr storms don’t happenn in Tippy’s fast flow regimes.
  14. It’s nuts. This years tornado formed overhead so I just missed it, thankfully, as it strengthened SE and cut across rte8 heading for Hamden..the tornado alley of the northeast.
  15. Jan 11 Oct 11 May 18 tornado Aug 20 Isias Basically...anytime trees come down and the power is out for an extended period of time.
  16. Some expect immediate results when h5 maps show promise but you gotta load up the bread basket first before you start spreading the butter.
  17. The dude should be all over Ozark...put the tight running shorts down and keep the pajamas on.
  18. Nice. The boulder may be a pebble by Christmas brunch. I was going to do a fun Santa trick on my son first thing in the morning where I dress up and as he comes downstairs...I walk out the back deck turn around and wave from afar as if I just dropped off his presents (with his cookies that he left for ‘me’ in my hands). But that would place me outside in the pouring rain with mud up to the ankles. Not that visual of memory I’d like him to have. A little snow left on the ground would be better. I’m still going to do it...but with a poncho on instead.
  19. As am I. There’s rarely an ideal pattern though, there’s always risk...but I’ve had enough of this super fast flow regime. Let’s slow our roll and get something to rotate under us and pray it gets far enough north.
  20. Meh. I’d rather have it than not. Miller A’s with blocks are great for us. Sure, it might put us on the northern edge with possible supression but lets ask Dendy and friends how that worked out for them last week. Plus, you can roll the Feb 10 pattern again and not get the same backyard result with a slight timing difference.
