  1. So hopefully we can kick this La-Ninaish pattern to the curb.?
  2. Some opportunities for snowfall on models as we head into February.
  3. Would gladly take anything at this point. Even a 1-3” storm.
  4. Maybe rain ending as some snow on Thursday? Especially for inland areas
  5. 14/15 flipped right around this time. Still plenty of time for NYC to at least reach average snowfall. Things look better now than they did in late Dec/early Jan, so that’s a huge positive. Pacific looks a lot better and I’d rather have a cooperative pacific over Atlantic. We have the cold now, just need some moisture.
  6. Ridge isn’t in the best position for the coast and we’re lacking cold enough air. Hopefully we can fix that before the storm occurs. It’s a good sign having all of the ensembles showing the signal for this timeframe
  7. With the way this winter has been going, I’m inclined to believe it won’t work in our favor. But things could change. Maybe the 25th/26th clipper can act as pseudo 50/50 for the 28th.
  8. I can smell the rain, that’s how close I am to it. 33 and snow. Coating on all surfaces
  9. Take a quick drive up 22. It’s sticking to streets here
  10. Maybe someone can help. Typically when we track the direction of low pressure on models, isn’t the rule to follow the kinks in the isobars? Could be wrong. Just trying to learn.
