Well, I’m all for it.
At 162 that low comes like 300 miles east. Interesting

GFS shaping up for another good thump on the 10th.
The 10th looks different. I know we’re still way far out but curious to see the opinions on that.

Nice to ski country get a little more involved

Not sure exactly where to post this, but what website do you guys use for quick reference historical snowfall? For example if I wanted to see the last time BDL recorded a snow event of at least 6 inches. etc
-
gfs basically back to where it was at 6z. Hopefully 12z was an outlier and it can continue to trend north

If we had to take today's run as the final outcome, I would be perfectly happy with that. Even though Connecticut wouldn't be in the biggest snow amounts, 8 to 10 inches is nothing to shake a stick at ( and that's all of Connecticut with some areas with more than 8-10 ). But it gets people to the west and people to the east with even more snow than that.
Agreed. I’m struggling to remember the last 8-10” storm in central Ct. been a while

It’s really tough to see that 5th threat so close
75-100 miles west and it clips SNE?

Looks like 0z euro tried for something as well around the 6th but too far east, albeit less so than previous runs.

Ugh Monday is going to set NNE ski resorts back quite a bit

12z GFS looks quite a bit east compared to previous few runs.
edit: ended up in the same spot though eventually.

The amount of snow that piled up and trees that ripped down on homes and roads from the cmc over the years…folks are still cleaning up and rebuilding.
lol. although I was talking more from a mental health toaster bath standpoint if nearly all of new England gets flooding rain that close to xmas

Perfect day, in my humble opinion. 75/55
Monitoring first regional significant winter impact event. Magnitude likely tempered. At this time NE PA/SE NY and SNE primarily. Jan 7/8.
