So far with this storm it seems the euro ensembles have been the most consistent of any models

Yeah, seen a lot of folks mention the Christmas 2010 storm in comparison to this one.
I hope so, we ended up with 14” in SE Va

It looked to me like the Canadian northern piece of energy was digging a bit more in the past 2 runs. If that trend continues, then you may get your wish.
Yea i just noticed that as i went back to look at H5 and the ensemble maps. Definitely a noticeable trend.

So how would you feel if you were banned from a board, then were told you would be allowed back, but then never hear anything back about it, still can't post 10 days later, and when you try to contact someone to get it cleared up you never get a response?
When were you banned?

Would really like to see the Canadian model jump on board tonight with the threat. It also did a really nice job with yesterdays storm in the 5/6 day range. Very consistent

not much if any ensemble support for that run which is likely to happen this far out. biggest thing is most ensembkles have a storm!

Yep, its looking good. Starting to stick to the pavement up here in town.
Radar starting to look weak, we need to get some backfilling going here in NE NC and SE VA

Yeah looks like it's starting to fill in in south Chesapeake/VB. Hopefully that's a good sign. I am worried the Norfolk might be on the NW edge of the heaviest accumulations as this thing ramps up.
Agree, was worried about that here in Chesapeake. Short range keep expanding precip west but at the same time its cutting QPF each run

29F light snow Chesapeake, VA (SE VA) 4 hours ahead of the 18Z NAM and HRR model suites…. Could surprise us all
-
More and more models coming in with drier QPF i think this is going to be a big bust

The precip has expanded but the qpf has decreased for nearly everyone… kind of odd
