Well you could've cut the corner for the mail person for gods sake lol

You’re not wrong. The plows will probably make one more pass so I’m hoping they will push the snow closer to or off the curb. That side is significantly more packed than the other side and it’s half slush on the street. Even if I cut the corner on the driveway she still can’t reach the box. If the plows don’t come by again I’ll clear it myself but hopefully a plow can do it in 2 seconds then I can do the finishing touches.

Anyone think NWS bumps snow totals.

MKE already has, albeit not by much. Went from 5-9 for the far SE counties to 7-10.

LOT also working in this so wording on the latest AFD:

For an additional tweak from the previous forecast, based off very
consistent ensemble probabilities and ingredients lining up for
high QPF and heavy snow into portions of northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana this evening, confidence has increased in a
swath of 8"+ amounts, including interior portions of the city of
    Chicago.

Don’t think they will change amounts (at least not much) but confidence does seem to be growing that we could see some local amounts approaching or maybe exceeding double digits. Wait and see now.

    LOL...might snow in Wisconsin!

//...Potential for Accumulating Snow Monday Evening ThroughTuesday... There is a potential for light to moderate accumulating snow starting Monday evening through Tuesday, mainly across southern Wisconsin. East to northeast winds will be gusty during this time as well, which could cause concerns for blowing and drifting snow. Lake enhanced snowfall is also possible for Racine and Kenosha counties during this time period. There is still a fair amount of uncertainty with snow totals for this system, so make sure to stay up to date with the latest forecast.//

Surprised advisories haven’t gone out in Kenosha/Racine counties yet but the snow cutoff is not making it an easy forecast here with models bouncing north and south. I’m not too confident in much LE as I think most of that will stay down toward the Lake and Cook county areas. Really, I just want to be included, even if I’m the kid who gets picked last in gym class.
