Miserymist snow all day.

Still 2"
Plenty of bare pavement still showing in my parking lot.

Wind starting to pick up but otherwise it's not doing much of anything at the moment.

Disappointing

The dreaded plateau.
Not much progress over the last 90 minutes. Bottomed out at -14.5 before ticking up a few tenths.

Did the wind ramp up recently there? In the last 5-10 mins it's picked up and the dew dropped about 5F to -27F.
Nope, wind remains unchanged. Short gusty periods followed by lengthy lulls. Temp and dewpoint on a nice smooth downward slope.

Why do you think now is the time that it will die? You have undoubtedly seen colder temps in the past 10 years.
It has always spent the winter in a giant heated polycarbonate box that stays above 20 degrees. It's deceptively larger than it looks in pictures and has become a way bigger engineering and construction project than I can handle, mostly because of my crippling fear of heights.

How long has it been there?
Since 2012. It was about 30 inches tall when I got it.

Sleet now.

Rather alarming amount of snow loaded up on the trees. The top 10 feet or so of the big white pine across the street just broke off.

I was about 1/4 mile away from getting Moultonboro'd last night.
The whispering pines condos got wrecked. It used to be a nice dense shady lot but it's so open and sparse looking now. Hard to tell, but I think they lost 4 of their biggest pines, which pancaked everything else around them.
This is like 500 feet away from me... sewage pump station lost part of its roof.
Some strips of marina roofing are missing.
Haven't made it over by Governors Island yet... based upon the outage map, they had a lot of fun last night.

Can't wait for tomorrows damage tour. I heard at least 4 trees come crashing down behind me. Lots of power flashes to the north. I'm going to boldly proclaim this beats October 2017, or 2018, idr.

This pleases me. Surprisingly intense gusts.
Power went out for a minute and came back. Lots of flickering.

This woodpecker was so disappointed that it appears he died on the feeder. Hasn't moved in almost 20 minutes?

Too warm for any fun here. Didn't expect to wake up to rain.
Only got about 5-6" and that was all yesterday. It snowed much of the night but instead of clinging to trees, they all melted out.
Looking across the bay, the trees are fully caked and bending starting around 700' or so. Looks like nearly everywhere above that elevation in Laconia and Gilford is without power.

30+ inches in 10 hours or I don't want it.

Radar has looked amazing for about an hour but the snow is just now picking up. Nice big flakes.
Gilford must be getting maimed... lots of outages popping up and the power has flickered here a few times despite there being pretty much nothing on the trees.
