  1. Heavy snow here in Pearl River, little over a foot
  2. Does anyone have a concrete idea of when the accumulating snow is gonna be winding down?
  3. I’m pushing it. Lol. Only a couple miles from my house but my car is new and this four-wheel-drive is the best. Lol. I’m just enjoying the scenery, it is coming down like there is no tomorrow.
  4. So I’m in my little Toyota Camry, which has four-wheel-drive and I’m in the ShopRite parking lot and my estimate right now on the ground is anywhere between 6 and 8 inches and I’m being conservative, the plows are doing a great job, the parking lot is plowed. They keep going back-and-forth, but I’m in a safe spot, you can’t see in front of your face, the flakes almost the size of silver dollars, we are just in a super heavy snow band right now for the last hour or so, and it doesn’t look like it’s lighten up by looking at the radar
  5. It is coming down like there’s no freaking tomorrow here in Pearl River, absolutely puking snow!!!!
  6. Puking snow here in Pearl River right now, got about 3 fresh inches on the ground
  7. About freaking time, the air got saturated enough here, we got some snow flurry activity here in Pearl River, New York in Rockland County
  8. If you look at the weather channel forecast and I can consider them one of the most accurate weather sites, they have 1 to 3 for us on Sunday, 8 to 12 Sunday night and another 1 to 3 on Monday
  9. We are lucky, we are the most southern and eastern part of Rockland County, in this type of storm every mile counts south and east. Lol.
  10. I know right, I don’t get it, I hope they change it
  11. Aren’t we here in Rockland County considered southeastern New York? Lol.
  12. I just see a winter storm warning for Rockland County that was just posted
  13. I’m here in Pearl River, New York, one of the rare few times I’m glad to be in the most southern and eastern part of Rockland County. Looks like every mile south and east can make a big difference with this storm.
  14. I’m driving to Atlantic City 110% if this pans out!
  15. Listen, I hope you’re right, I’m just going on latest models, Upton just lowered amounts, the ice/snow line is now farther north than anticipated, this is what I’m just going on, so I hope you’re 110% right
  16. I’m not trolling, actually Snow lover who just posted right now says pretty much the same thing I’m saying, I’m not trolling and believe me. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I’m wrong.
  17. I think 6 or 7 inches is over aggressive, we got to hope that it snows like there is no tomorrow to get that accumulation because it’s looking more and more like the change over is coming quicker and quicker, I’ll sign up right now for 3 to 5 inches in the city and 6 to 8 in my area here in Rockland county and points north and west before the changeover
  18. Listen, I hope you’re 110% right, I’m just seeing what I’m seeing, and it doesn’t look good
  19. Well, it’s pretty much now casting now and I’m just going on what the trend has been, don’t kill the messenger, believe me I want to be wrong, but you gotta tell it how it is when the models are showing how it’s gonna play out, that’s simple
  20. Nobody wants to be more wrong than me, but I’m just seeing what I’m seeing, that warm air seems to be very aggressive on pretty much all the models, I mean, I’m here in Rockland County. You think I would be in a sweet spot but even here we’re gonna get shafted, maybe 6 inches at best before the sleet comes in, the New York City area points south and east, looking a lot less
