  1. Getting close to the 4 inch mark in spartanburg right on 85 in Cowpens
  2. Ripping snow in Spartanburg! Accumulations mean nothing anymore! Just sitting outside with a fire and coffee watching it pour! Thanks @BornAgain13and @lilj4425 for reeling this in! Drinks will be mailed! Hahaha!
  3. It's just one run - but this run is a killer heartbreak for the Upstate of sc - I mean absolute killer. Losing around 0.4 qpf is a ton, considering at least 0.1 of what's there will be virga. Ouch!! I need @lilj4425 to bring us back some MOJO! Lets go baby!!!!
  4. Hey @lilj4425- the moment a map is in our favor.... like in the history of weather, we read this. Haha, he could be 100% right and no doubt probably is. But it has been confirmed, the upstate of SC is the red- headed step child of SE winter weather..
  5. Saw it here, @BornAgain13 - if this happens for us Upstate, SC people I will personally send a 12 pack to your door step of WHATEVER you want
  6. That's the precip map that makes me slobber! Been praying the last several runs that it verifies
  7. GFS not great for Upstate through NE Ga...several runs in a row - def need Mrs. G to kick west
  8. I would kill for this...Spartanburg needs a 25-40 mile shift or 1 deformation band! Please! 7 inches at 10:1 would be life changing here 15-20:1
  9. Well...happy for ENC...Upstate folks out through Atl...love you guys but time to hang it up on a potential big one for us. Here's to next time! @Brick Tamlandbuild me an igloo for posterity, maybe it'll end our drought next year! Hell, might as well build a whole igloo apartment complex with that amount!
  10. I am not going to disagree with that - areas to my WNW ( and I mean within 30 miles and closer to the escarpment got pounded with ZR - we didn't really flip over until the last hour or 2 - That's the thing about models, it can be right for one neck of the woods and be off somewhere else along with other anomalies such as you described. I just know moving forward - the one that shows the longest duration of a dry slot - we gonna roll with that one!
  11. NAM was great with profiles on the last storm. Only one that showed us with sleet through the duration of the storm - just missed the 8 hour dry slot over the Upstate - but do we really need a model to tell us that? Kind of a given these days in the Upstate.
  12. Looks like something else perking up the interest at the end of the GFS run
  13. Actually, Upstate peeps needs that AIGFS total accumulated precip to VERIFY - then it is freaking on like donkey kong from Atlanta, through upstate, through NC and Southern Va - Freaking Jack Pot City
  14. RGEM, PLEASE VERIFY!!!!!! PLEASE, us UPSTATE SNOW STARVED PEOPLE ARE BEGGING YOU! I might even sell a kidney
  15. We are used to heart break - but we got a shot at least!
  16. I have no idea how to extrapolate - but MY EYES see the Euro with something, the GFS with a good thump, NAM showing something and RGEM showing something. Odds are there, but it's razor thin for the upstate, SC people. I honestly think unless this heifer goes OTS, a lot of our board is gonna get a good little thump we haven't seen in a long time.
  17. @BornAgain13 - I was about to post the same thing! The juice in that looks much better with high rates! If we could get near an inch board wide with 15-1 rates - now we talking!
