I'm sort of surprised you said that.  I would give anything to get 9.0" inches again like we did on November 12 but I do know what you mean by your statement based on that it isn't changing to rain and sleet this time just plain snow which has been a rarity this winter.

Exactly what I mean! Looking out the window brings me back to 02-15. That or this will all be a dream in a few days we enjoy!

SWFE FTL when it comes to flake production. Lift is below the DGZ.

Ya that’s what I think will happen. We will get a few hours as the sleet line gets closer and our DP’s rise. Lawn is covered now so that’s a win. Shoveling this stuff before I go to bed will be another win because it will be a heavy mess in the AM.

  3. I’d rather skip this upcoming event and not have to deal with shoveling 4” of glop again. Been a great run I moved from Malden to Wilmington in 2002. Before that many historic non achieving cold useless years in the 80’s burbs growing up of course 78 is a once in a life time storm for Malden. Since moving up here the snow falls have been as advertised (we used to call the area just inside 495 north of 128 the snow belt) did not disappoint at all. Now on to my next phase in life warm beaches with a lot of “scenery” Heavy research on my place in SFLA today. Will keep a property in the Wilmington area for the summer time though. Maybe even some sort weenie time share out in the mammoth area, Although my wife may nix that idea.

gfs keep moving that freezing rain line north also, so something to watch.

What’s the chances that we get a ice storm up here? Rather than what has been touted snow to sleet with minimal ZR? I have people working late tomorrow night 1 AM and I don’t want them to be sliding off roads.
