Feeling like PF lol just a great day! Continues to snow here.

I'm sort of surprised you said that. I would give anything to get 9.0" inches again like we did on November 12 but I do know what you mean by your statement based on that it isn't changing to rain and sleet this time just plain snow which has been a rarity this winter.
Exactly what I mean! Looking out the window brings me back to 02-15. That or this will all be a dream in a few days we enjoy!

This tops the November event in my book. Been a nice couple of back end reach around hours fascinating! Was a pleasure. Now we await more shit Wednesday/Thursday ughh..

Awesome day ! Hmm maybe another inch , just in from shoveling again. Call it 4.5 or 5 if this fluffy stuff could continue lol.

The snowfall rate has really picked up here, and with much bigger flakes. If only it would stick to something besides the car. Slight wind (6mph) and fluffy flakes makes that unlikely. 20/14
Sticking pretty good here. Going out to walk My boy it’s awesome outside best day of the winter by far here. No rain no sleet no ice except under foot.

Yeah. Maybe an inch. Someone gets a lucky two perhaps. Will start out as rimed flakes and then get better as it cools aloft.
Spot on! Better flakes and coming down nicely. Maybe in the lucky zone and can be one of the lucky ones.

Is that stuff coming in from the nw going to lead to our “fraud invt”?
-
3.5” or so here I’d take this over any of those sloppy storms we have had this year. Maybe another inch or so incoming if the radar isn’t lying?
-
Guess we will see box at least give us peeps north of the pike a wwa or maybe even a wsw?

We always loved trying to solve the riddles under the cap.
Yup those were fun.

Lol brings me back to the old days. Haffenreffer also known as Haffenwrecker or the Green Monsters was a good way to get your party started in my college days. Usually didn’t end well though LOL.

Wilmington is sleet and it’s about on rays fanny.
Mixed with snow but yes we are transitioning. 4” is my best guess another slopfest!

Oddly it's back to snow (little sleet if any) and low level pixie. 22.3/21
Same here and actually picked up at least another inch maybe up to 4.

We will see how much sleet there is to shovel should be interesting?
-
Pretty lame just shoveled the driveway maybe 2” we wait for the next “big snow event”

SWFE FTL when it comes to flake production. Lift is below the DGZ.
Ya that’s what I think will happen. We will get a few hours as the sleet line gets closer and our DP’s rise. Lawn is covered now so that’s a win. Shoveling this stuff before I go to bed will be another win because it will be a heavy mess in the AM.

As Will pointed out earlier it’s like someone is dumping a box of baking soda out of the sky any change in this flake size expected?

I 93 is a parking lot
Got home about an hour ago. There was an accident in stoneham close to 128 before the snow even picked up. Very small baking powder flakes falling here now maybe a 1/2 inch so far.

I’d rather skip this upcoming event and not have to deal with shoveling 4” of glop again. Been a great run I moved from Malden to Wilmington in 2002. Before that many historic non achieving cold useless years in the 80’s burbs growing up of course 78 is a once in a life time storm for Malden. Since moving up here the snow falls have been as advertised (we used to call the area just inside 495 north of 128 the snow belt) did not disappoint at all. Now on to my next phase in life warm beaches with a lot of “scenery” Heavy research on my place in SFLA today. Will keep a property in the Wilmington area for the summer time though. Maybe even some sort weenie time share out in the mammoth area, Although my wife may nix that idea.

If I did a time lapse video of my back yard you would have thought it was March to April lol. Not so much.
-
Jeez we are exactly where we were in 2015 . Does anyone think it will happen again? No! but it is 01-23 ? We will have our snow. My guess is multiple deals like last one which to be honest I could do without.
-
Not a official measurement but just back in the house after shoveling after work I’d say 4” at least here based on the amount I have in the the back yard

gfs keep moving that freezing rain line north also, so something to watch.
What’s the chances that we get a ice storm up here? Rather than what has been touted snow to sleet with minimal ZR? I have people working late tomorrow night 1 AM and I don’t want them to be sliding off roads.
