  1. NWS has bumped up the expected amount we see overnight to 7 inches, that's a great sign. Come on, snow!!!
  2. KMQB I guess is Macomb's abbreviation, oops, lol. So we have moderate rain right now, temperature is starting to fall, it looks almost ready to mix. I can see it on the radar too. I bet it changes around 4 or 5.
  3. NWS really needs to update their blizzard warning. Euro, NAM, RAP, HRRR all have us between 8-12 here in Macomb. Like...I'm sticking with 6-10, but 4-8 by the NWS is gonna be wrong. I could see 8.5-9 inches and with the winds...this would be the best storm I've ever seen down here.
  4. Does that...does that put us at 8 inches in Macomb?
  5. If we get more southeast, I will cry happy tears. I want a foot of snow, but I'm happy with the 4-8. Also...euro run, anyone? https://weather.us/model-charts/euro/illinois/snow-depth-in/20181126-1800z.html
  6. Blizzard warning is out here! And we got a bump to 4-8 inches, although I still think 10 could easily be hit. Here we go folks! Best of luck to all of us out there! Let's get a good blizzard!
  7. Blizzard warnings up for Galesburg and Peoria areas. In fact, it looks like the only spots the warnings aren't out in are the DVN area. Only a matter of time, I'd bet.
  8. Yeah I see blizzard warnings to the south and west of McDonough County and I'm like...almost there... Just went outside and it's still around 38, winds are at like 20-25, no precip yet though.
  9. It's feeling like either I'm gonna get 2 inches or 8 inches. Air temp is 38 now according to the NWS. Gonna go outside in about 40 mins and experience it for myself. Come on weather, get cold!!!
  10. The Euro 12z run will be very telling, I think. But honestly, I'm rooting for y'all in Chicago and Peoria to get your southeast shift. Any southeast shift is a good shift.
  11. So down in Macomb, it's a pretty big travel day. I'm really worried about the travelers heading back here and to other schools. But! Given the nws's forecast...they're calling 3 inches right now...I'm really hoping that's too low. I've never gotten to see a legitimate blizzard in my lifetime. I hope this thing shifts just a bit further south. If it doesn't, I'll be sad, as it seems we miss all the good storms. Edit: The Euro's got me sitting at 8-12...and the Euro's usually good at snow...Come on baby! Just a bit further south!
