Hey guys. Here's my updated snowfall totals. After getting up at 315am this morning, I'm dog tired and will not be doing a long post this go around. We all know what's been transpiring in terms of model guidance. I think I'm still hedging conservative in spots, but this is my final call for the storm. Now, here's a great storm for everyone in here. Enjoy!! I'll be watching from the sidelines in the Lone Star state.

If you wind up being right N.Frederick Co at the Catoctins is in for a rude awakening. I'm in Emmitsburg and no one I've talked to is expecting more than an inch. Accufail is even saying maybe 1-2.

  2. Trained spotter says 7.5 for Thurmont, MD which is about 9 miles to my south on MD 15. Steady sleet now, very gray skies. Will be interesting to see what falls on top during the night/early am. Looks like another snow day for the kids tomorrow most likely in Frederick County. Roads here are a royal mess.

  3. Ok so this is my very first post after reading for a bit so excuse me if I sound a bit uneducated(or completely)

I'm in Emmitsburg,MD. Extreme NW Frederick County, MD.. approx 10 miles from Gettysburg,PA if that helps. Our local forecast keeps saying rain/sleet/1-3 snow? Yet the maps here don't seem to jive with that. We're in Catoctin Mountain.

Anyways..I need to drive tomorrow at 7am from here to Westminster, MD. Can anyone give me an actual idea of what I can expect? Then I drive back at 4pm.

    Thanks.
