Sleet and freezing rain now in Emmitsburg. Schools did close.

Snowing lightly in Emmitsburg. The main road is pretty bad and the side roads are a mess. Still no word on schools.

Drove into work last night in Smithsburg at 10pm..roads were horrid and I wound up in a ditch 0.5miles from work. Got "saved" by an 18 yr old. He's my hero.

Roads are a mess Thurmont-Emmitsburg-Cascade.

After being a steady but light snow since onset at 7 it's now a moderate snow in Emmitsburg

It's pretty much all sleet/fr rain now. Measured 2.4 in in Emmitsburg..I'm literally on the farthest point here PA line is walkable.

Roads are a very big mess up here.

It's a mess between Thurmont and Emmitsburg. My dad just came up that way said people were sliding all over.

Hello Smithsburg person..I work in Smithsburg yet I've never met a person actually from there haha...have now!

Probably 1.2 in if I had to guess from 1.0 measurement 3 hrs ago.

I was born in D.C. and lived there 17 yrs..then moved to Baltimore for 20 more. Now I'm in NW Frederick county by the M/D line.

I root for my DC/Baltimore folks! I know how much I wanted snow when I was there....don't hate on us M/D. Northern folks because 1 person pissed you off!
