Is this IT?
Can we heat back up and destabilize a bit toward evening to get round 2? Looks to be energy, or the actual front still way west. Almost appears like this was a mini vort at the base of the leading edge of the long squall line that stretches into New England.
There is another line in central PA that interests me. If some locations' energy hasn't been tapped into yet, then it's certainly a possibility.

Watching storms form just east and south of Germandesert and move away, as usual. Sitting at 0.3 for the month and will get another shutout today.
You sure you weren't looking at the radar too much?

Staring out my window. Cumulus field, but no significant convection of any kind imby yet. I smell a bust incoming.

My area has definitely overperformed on temps. Currently 97/76...

Those storms coming into Baltimore just disappeared.

I have literally had zero measurable rainfall (not even 0.01") since June 27... this might be a rain futility record IMBY but I'll have to check.
I got 0.03'' of rain yesterday in a shower that passed by... other than that the last rainfall was June 24. Don't worry we'll probably break that dry streak tomorrow and get a decent downpour!
The last inch or greater of rain was June 11.

88/79/102 out
Edit: What's going on up there in that new england forum?

Picked up only three hundredths of rain, hardly measurable. Some more drizzle coming on radar, temperature back up to 85/76 and muggy.
-
Getting a fairly fast moving shower. Some yellows appearing on radar heading straight for me, i'm guessing about a tenth of rain. That's just enough to get the ground wet, but not for long... dry tomorrow

Went for a bike ride and back. That air is horribly dry and sinuses are a little upset because of that. Little spots of green grass, otherwise the other 90% or more of MBY is torch

Data from the danish meteorological institute.

There seems to be a lot more ice than 2011-12. This is during the height of melt season and we are well above the 1981-2010 mean.

Still no D0? Yes. Someone's out to lunch.

Haven't had an inch or more of rain since June 10. Haven't had a single drop since the 23rd.
-
That's a strong seabreeze front! Temp dropped 5 degrees and dew point went up from 65 to 73.
-
90/67. RH 45%. Would be third 90 degree day recorded by PWS, if July 9th didn't get 89'd

Temp up to 91 here now.
Another day of 90 or above temps in the books.
Looks like i'm getting 89'd here away from the city of wilmington

73/60. Not often do you see September-esque nights in July.

And like that the drought is OVER! With the snap of god's fingers.
A wall of rain and wind just shellacked my windows.
