Misery mist for a while here, took down a small dead tree and did some pruning.  Back to cloudy and breezy, 63F.

some of us knew it was likely going to be wet today and mowed yesterday

Just mowed for the second time (before tomorrow's misery mist) and I can confirm:  lawn does not look as good as it did after the first mow

Wow.  That was amazing.  Made it to Prouty beach and rode around on my bike.  Thousands of people everywhere.

Epic drive back from Newport, 7 hours, mostly on Rt. 5, also on some dirt roads way up to avoid the I91 parkinglot.

I’m 30 miles south of Newport, never seen so many cars on 91 this far north

Also heading to Newport, leaving before 6, car is fueled and cooler is packed.  Bike is in the trunk.  Hoping to get to the event at Prouty Beach.  

Heading for Newport at 6:30 am.  Gonna be a madhouse.
