Probably a stupid question...has anyone seen the CT River north of Lancaster? Supposed to paddle from Bloomfield this weekend. We cancelled but I'm curious if it's as bad as we assume.  The gauge at North Stratford is very compared to normal.

interesting very localized effects with friends only a few miles away and not at a much lower elevation only having received about 3 inches with no problems with snow on trees or anything. They were shocked to hear how much we had. And 7 1/2 is a fairly conservative estimate.

I'm at 15" here, 3 miles away and 1000' lower is at 2"

This year they've been remarkably accurate.  They are under-forecasting to the tune of 7.6", half of which came on the 12/16 event.  They have only over-forecast on the 1/25 event (by 2.3")

This might be an industry standard, what hour is "go time"?
