  1. Looking at 8.4 inches in Easton for the winter. Really only two events, one underachieved, 4.3 inches, when every model was saying at least 7, even during the storm. The other overachieved, projected dusting turned into 3 inches. Everything else was garbage slop.
  2. About 1 inch of sleet and snow in Easton, probably a foot of salt on the roads. Brings the annual total up to 8.4 inches of snow/sleet and 3 feet of salt.
  3. Looks like lack of precipitation and east wind from the ocean.
  4. Last storm obs from Easton, I don't see much more in the way of accumulation the rest of the day. 31.5, dp 27.1, sn, dusting
  5. Chased the storm to OC, walked the dog in an hour of sleet, polished the day off at burley oak. Can't complain.
  6. Final tally, just under 3.0 for Easton. High of 19.8, low of 11.5, currently 18.0. Side roads are glaciers , SHA scrambling all day, models without a clue, overall great little storm. Up to 7.3 total for the winter.
  7. Nice, seems like most places got over 2" on the Delmarva, Mount Holly finally gave us a WWA. Route 50 through Easton was a mess.
  8. Ahh, I am very familiar with that phenomenon haha. Looks to be around 0.2" for Easton with snow lifting north of us, down to pixie dust now. Hopefully this swings back through later.
  9. Light snow in Easton, dusting. Exceeded my non-existent expectations.
  10. Got some back end pity snow, pretty much over before it even started.
  11. Nothing says winter on the Eastern Shore more than 38 degrees and moderate rain.
  12. Coastal areas have been cashing in the past few years and the set up over the next few weeks looks to benefit that area. Could be an interesting few weeks.
  13. Love the optimism. Haveing been through 6 Delmarvalous winters, I know that for the midshore this happens more often than not: Coastal crushers cruise by: 0 to 3 in. Southern sliders skip south: 0 to 4 in. Deform bands dissipate: 0 in. Always count on subsidence/dry slot
  14. I asked my dog, he licked his butt...I think that means 9 more years of summer.
  15. Dust off the rain gauges next 10 days are looking soggy.
  16. Yeah, that was rough watching that unfold. Although, it seems to be a more common occurance in the midshore area with snowstorms.
